Position Summary:
Our A Leading Labor & Employment Law Firm Indianapolis office has an opportunity for a mid-level litigation associate to join the firm's dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for associates who are proactive and passionate about taking a significant role in providing labor and employment law services. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel.

Duties include performing legal research, drafting legal memos and pleadings, attending court hearings, handling discovery-related activities and investigations, drafting position statements and dispositive motions, and counseling clients on employment-law-related matters.

The right candidate will have a passion for litigation, strong analytical and writing skills, experience/interest in employment law and an ability to relate to and inspire confidence with sophisticated business clients. This is a great opportunity for the right lawyer to join a national employment law practice with a collaborative and team-oriented local office.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Indiana. During employment, employees must meet the requirements for continued licensure for law practice.
  • 3+ years of experience of litigation experience
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills are required.
