- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
- Assist with case strategy and preparation for hearings, trials, and other proceedings
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Attend meetings, depositions, and court appearances as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve positive outcomes for clients
- Stay current on legal developments and trends in relevant practice areas
- Track and record time for work billed to client matters
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar Indiana
- 1-4 years of experience practicing law, preferably in civil, construction, contract, insurance litigation.
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal services with integrity and professionalism
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to use Microsoft Teams and OneNote
- Ability to navigate and use Adobe Acrobat
