- Must be able to hit the ground running to serve our already-established clients
- Conduct legal research, and create legal documents, including correspondences, briefs, motions, pleadings, legal contracts, affidavits, and settlement proposals
Responsibilities:
The ability to effectively manage a fast-moving and high-volume caseload
Qualifications:
- Active license in good standing to practice law in Indiana
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with our team of supervising attorneys, paralegals, and staff to best serve client needs and grow our client base
- 3-10 years of experience in a variety of family law cases
- Proven record of success in advocating for clients
- Represent clients in court hearings and other proceedings as needed
- Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
- Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
- Handle the division of marital assets
- Work closely with paralegals and the supervising attorney to ensure swift action through the litigation process
- Keep client files properly organized and up-to-date
