You will work closely with our senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. - Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys
- Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
- Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
- Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
- Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
Qualifications:
- Member of Georgia Bar
- Three or more years of Litigation experience
- Personal Injury experience is a plus
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
- Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
- Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
- Successful completion of the bar exam
