What Will You Do?
- Effectively communicate with clients and referral partners
- Train and manage your team
- Advise clients on estate and trust administration, including uncontested and contested probate
- Confidently interact with high-net-worth clients
- Manage your caseload with minimal oversight
- Draft estate plans
- Advise client on estate planning matters
- Develop strategies leading to the efficient resolution of cases
- Negotiate and settle cases
- Draft pleadings
- Draft discovery requests and responses
- Take depositions
- Attend mediation, hearings, and trials
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills
- Admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing
- Three or more years of relevant experience related to one or more of the firm's practice areas (estate planning, probate, or business law)
- Strong negotiation skills, including the willingness and ability to reconcile differences and find mutual wins
- Excellent communication ability, this includes using appropriate tone and professionalism when engaging with clients
- Strong ethical compass
- Working knowledge of finance, investments, and insurance
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to do what needs to be done
- Service-based attitude
- A self-starter with a positive attitude, resilient emotional intelligence, strong work ethic, good judgment, and a sense of humor
