Position Summary:
A Catholic University Charles Widger School of Law seeks a qualified individual to serve as Visiting Assistant Professors of Law during academic year 2024-25. This position is a 10-month, visiting position beginning in the summer of 2024, with the possibility of one additional 10-month term.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching two courses, one per semester. Courses are subject to negotiation, based on the curricular needs of the Law School and the interests of the candidate. The successful candidate will have ample time to focus on scholarship and be afforded access to the Law School's library and related resources. Past Visiting Assistant Professors of Law at A Catholic University have found great success in legal academia.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach one course in the Fall 2024 semester and one course in the Spring 2025 semester.
  • Engage in scholarly research, publication, and related scholarly activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctor is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
A demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in academia is preferred.
