Primary Responsibilities:

Working collaboratively as part of a team.
Leading cases. and represent clients and businesses in civil litigation and other legal proceedings
Collaborate with clients and their advisors to develop strategies designed to meet specific goals.
Draft and file briefs, motions, and other necessary judicial pleadings.
Interview and depose witnesses and facilitate the discovery process.
Supervise and direct mediation sessions and offer effective legal advice.
Manage multiple clients, cases and legal activities that carry varying deadlines.
Engage in business development, including professional organization involvement and writing.
Supervise paralegals, staff, and team members as your role progresses.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Successful passing of the bar exam
Active member in good standing of the Bar or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Nebraska.
2-5 years of relevant experience, such as motion practice, discovery dispute and trial preparation along with a strong interest in litigation.
Strong work ethic, drive, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
