Description:

We are seeking a motivated midlevel associate to join our dynamic team and support our Litigation and Environmental Law practice groups. The successful candidate will assist in pre-litigation investigations, environmental and business litigation matters from inception through trial, and litigation management, particularly focusing on contaminated properties, product liabilities, contractual and other business disputes, and related areas.

Responsibilities:

Representing clients in litigation matters from the inception of the case through pre-trial with minimal oversight.
Conducting pre-litigation case intake, analysis, and evaluations.
Analyzing complex fact patterns and devising technical and legal arguments and defenses.
Engaging in legal research and analysis.
Drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
Complying with state and federal court rules and procedures.
Providing support to senior attorneys on various legal matters.

Necessary experience includes knowledge of multi-party or complex litigation matters and/or environmental law and a willingness and ability to learn and work with complex fact sets, scientific and technical disciplines, and our clients' businesses. Only candidates who have received their Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school with a California bar license should apply.
