Description:
We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience practicing estate planning law and a background in drafting estate planning documents, advising clients on tax-efficient strategies, administering trusts and estates and dealing with businesses and their owners. The candidate should possess excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Provide estate planning services to clients, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives.
- Conduct thorough reviews of clients' financial situations and family dynamics to develop customized estate plans that meet their goals and objectives.
- Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies for wealth preservation, asset protection, and minimizing estate, gift, and income taxes.
- Administer trusts and estates, including asset transfers, beneficiary distributions, tax filings, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Educate clients on estate planning concepts, laws, and regulations, and address their questions and concerns with clarity and professionalism.
- Work with business owners in forming business entities, selling businesses and business continuation matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of five years of experience practicing estate planning and/or business law, preferably in a reputable law firm or private practice setting.
- Strong knowledge of estate planning techniques, tax laws, and business regulations.
- Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client matters and deadlines simultaneously.
