Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Employment Law Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in employment law matters, with a focus on providing comprehensive legal counsel to employers. This individual should demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness in managing various legal projects effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and review employment-related legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and handbooks.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis pertaining to employment law issues, such as discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and wrongful termination.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to employment law compliance, employee relations, and workplace policies.
  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including but not limited to discrimination claims, wage disputes, and regulatory investigations.
  • Collaborate other attorneys and professionals within the firm to develop proactive strategies for minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting employment practices, and advise clients accordingly.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional legal services and support tailored to each client's unique needs and objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Indiana State Bar (or ability to become admitted promptly).
  • Years of experience practicing employment law, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law issues, compliance, and contracts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
