We're seeking an admitted attorney for an extremely promising Criminal Defense TRO Attorney position within a premier law firm with ample room for growth. This is an opportunity for a dedicated attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career with an established firm. As the Criminal Defense Attorney, you will report to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney. You will manage your caseload, handle client interactions, and collaborate with our exceptional Criminal Defense Team of attorneys and legal assistants.Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on their legal rights and draw up legal documents related to their cases
- Attend pretrial hearings on behalf of clients and provide post-hearing advice on the best strategies
- Manage court appearances, trials, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and conducting legal research
- Analyze probable case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents
- Manage workload efficiently
- Provide legal analysis to clients to determine potential case benefits
- Gather additional evidence to support clients' cases or to counter the prosecution's charges
- Prepare clients for depositions, determine essential case strategy goals, and gather information from witnesses and key experts supporting clients' positions.
Qualifications:
- Experience handling criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels
- A team player willing to assist, strategize, and collaborate with fellow associates
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
