The A Hospital and Healthcare Management Company Corporate Legal Department is hiring a Counsel - Vendor Contracts to support A Hospital and Healthcare Management Company Supply Chain and Hospital Operations in contracting matters both at corporate and facility level.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Drafts and negotiate corporate and supply chain contracts and other legal documents for all Company corporate and hospital divisions and provide advice and counsel to company officers and executives in connection with contractual matters and risk
  • Provide legal and strategic business advice across all functions, including but not limited to Supply Chain, Finance and IT
  • Reviews limited health care provider agreements. Supports general legal matters upon request
  • Coordinate closely with senior executives, internal auditing, supply chain, facility operations and legal personnel relative to the application, interpretation and enforcement of the corporation's policies and procedures related to contracting
  • Participates in the development of and implements strategies for all activities relating to standards of conduct and ethical relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees, stakeholders and the communities in which A Hospital and Healthcare Management Company operates
  • May assist in due diligence examinations in connection with company acquisitions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years' experience in commercial contract negotiation.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and respond to multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and can interact comfortably with executives and senior management
  • Excellent writing skills required. Basic computer skills required
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to balance business needs with legal risks
  • Willingness to learn and expand areas of knowledge
  • Travel periodically required up to 10%
