Position Purpose:
Assist with contract review and contract management, lead compliance initiatives, assist with corporate books and records, assist with due diligence and integration efforts.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Initial point of contact for all contract requests
  • With oversight, manage the contract management and document retention system to facilitate the retention and flow of documentation for the Company as a whole
  • Organize input, requests, status updates, and other information from many points of contact and oversee contract workflows
  • With oversight, prepare and review day to day contracts for customers, raw materials, vendors, NDAs, general purchasing, consulting, employment, etc.
  • Ensure applicable processes are in place for key contract terms and customer documents to be monitored and accounted for
  • Assist in corporate formalities and execution of documents, as appropriate
  • Assist with compliance initiatives in connection with general rules and regulations and those applicable to the manufacturing sector (GDPR/CCPA, Lacey act, conflict minerals, California prop 65, Green Guides, etc.)
  • Assist with organization of corporate books and records
  • Coordinate annual US state, Canadian and Indian corporate filings for entities
  • Assist with oversight of patent and trademark retention system
  • Assist with due diligence and integration efforts in connection with mergers and acquisitions
  • Handle the processing and coding of legal bills
  • Work with outside counsel, as necessary
  • Other tasks as assigned by both the Associate General Counsel and General Counsel

Essential Skills and Experience
  • At least 4 years' experience negotiating commercial contracts at a medium to large law firm or as in-house counsel
  • Experience with intellectual property law will be viewed as a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment to achieve answers in an accurate and extremely efficient manner with daily direct contact to internal clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite and standard business software (experience with document management systems strongly preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities and urgent requests
  • Eagerness to handle a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities and take initiative on projects as they arise
  • Comfort in a collaborative environment with high expectations of accountability and work ethic
  • Licensed attorney and member of a state bar with the ability to obtain once employed with Intertape Polymer Group (or already have obtained) Florida In-House Counsel licensure
  • Friendly demeanor and very approachable as you will be the initial point of contact for internal clients (have a can-do attitude!)
  • Option for this position to be fully remote for the right candidate
