Position Overview:Are you an attorney looking for an exciting opportunity in corporate law? A Government Benefit Program is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our corporate operations and ensuring legal compliance across various business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance and support on corporate matters, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to corporate transactions and business operations.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and mitigate risks.
- Assist in managing corporate governance matters and maintaining corporate records.
- Handle day-to-day legal tasks and support senior attorneys as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Tennessee State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and contract law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in the telecommunications industry.
