Description:
The New Hampshire Department of Justice is seeking applicants with
experience or interest in labor and employment law to fill a full-time
litigation position in the Civil Bureau. The Civil Bureau represents the
State, its agencies, and its employees before state and federal trial
and appellate courts and in administrative proceedings. Civil Bureau
attorneys work on a wide array of cases, including cases presenting
complex and novel questions of state and federal law. A significant
portion of the Civil Bureau's work involves labor- and
employment-related issues.
The ideal candidate
will have experience or a demonstrated interest in labor and employment
law. Excellent analytical and writing skills are a must. Candidates with
experience litigating both routine and complex civil disputes in state
or federal court or before administrative tribunals are encouraged to
apply.
