Description:
Growing Health Law practice in the Lake Mary/Sanford market with an excellent client base seeks a diligent, detail-oriented, driven and highly motivated attorney for an immediate job opening. Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed in progress, as necessary, and upon completion.The working environment consists of a close-knit group of attorneys and staff working together as a team on contractual, medical malpractice, litigation, transactional, and HIPAA matters as well as other complex cases.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, computer skills, solid research and writing skills, and interpersonal communications skills.
Medical malpractice experience and/or understanding of medical issues, in addition to experience with federal and Florida health care administrative laws, is a plus but is not required.
Qualifications:
- JD from accredited Law School
- Must be admitted to practice in Florida
- Medical Malpractice experience or Business/Transactional Litigation experience preferred, but not required
- Writing and oral communication skills
- Computerized legal research skills (Westlaw preferred)
- Efficiently operate a computer including Microsoft Office programs
Experience:
- Legal research: 1 year (Preferred)
- Writing skills: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Florida Bar License (Required)
