Description:
The Fort Myers office of Florida Defense Litigation Lawyers seeks an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience. We are open to candidates outside of Lee/Collier County to work remotely or in one of our other offices. Must reside in the state of Florida.Your Day-to-Day:
- Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions, analyze discovery issues, and prepare reports for clients
- Attend court hearings, depositions, meetings with clients, and negotiate settlements.
- Conduct complex legal research and analysis.
- Assist with trial preparation and attend trials.
- Must be proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel
- Communicate in a highly effective manner with colleagues and clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Insurance Defense litigation is required.
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required
