Description:
Position Summary:The Associate Attorney will assist senior attorneys in providing legal counsel to existing clients. The Associate Attorney is responsible for conducting legal research; drafting documents and pleadings; communicating with clients and experts; drafting and responding to discovery; document review; and assisting with trial and deposition preparation. Associates may represent clients in court and depositions.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze claim file and other documentation and prepare a defense strategy
- Conduct discovery, such as depositions and other written discovery
- Motion practice
- Attend mediations
- Prepare for and try cases in both state and federal court
- Analyze facts of case and propose defense strategy
- Report to clients and comply with all relevant guidelines
Requirements & Competencies:
- 0-4 years of experience.
- Florida Bar admission
- Strong, relevant, verifiable experience
- Excellent research, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess great time management and problem-solving skills.
- Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
- Must meet expectations for billing goals.
