Nevada Industrial Relations Attorneys are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing Las Vegas office crew. HMC specializes in Workers' Compensation Insurance Defense, OSHA Employer Representation, Subrogation, Subsequent Injury, and Industrial Insurance Litigation by defending employers, insurers, third-party administrators, and others. Responsibilities:
  • Ability to represent clients in court or before government agencies either in person or remotely.
  • Experience in drafting legal documents and correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Required to meet or exceed monthly billable hours.
  • Be careful and deliberate in planning and strategizing for clients.
  • Maintain organized client files in our electronic case management system to ensure all files have the most up-to-date and accurate information.
  • Understanding of the Nevada statutes and regulations pertaining to their assigned cases and have the ability to perform legal research.
  • Must be organized, a multi-tasker, deadline-oriented, a team player, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada and in compliance with all legal standards, ethics, Nevada Statutes and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and cross-functional problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in this fast-paced environment are a must as well as impeccable attention to detail in your work.
  • Must be able to work on own, but also be able to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Drive to cultivate and develop strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, not just being their representation.
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are critical as well as exceptional and persuasive writing skills.
  • Strive to exemplify the highest levels of respect and performance daily for each of our clients.
  • Daily usage of electronic case management system to organize and work cases efficiently.
  • Highly motivated and have an interest in Employment related and Administrative law.
  • Litigation experience is preferred, but not required.
