Join our team of dynamic Attorneys! Our firm seeks a Family Law professional to welcome the challenge of helping families in Divorce and Custody proceedings. The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of legal practice experience, preferably in the area of Family Law.In the past year, our firm has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from one associate to a team of talented attorneys and supporting team members. Responsibilities:
- Prepare motions related to divorce, custody, and other family law matters
- Draft pleadings for divorce, custody, child support, and guardianship cases
- Conduct client meetings and provide legal counsel
- Attend court hearings, trials, and relevant proceedings
- Prepare legal memos and correspondence for opposing counsel and clients
- Track and bill time accurately
- Willingness to accept additional responsibilities as needed
- Offer legal advice and guidance to clients
- Collaborate effectively with fellow attorneys and legal team members
- Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations
- Juris Doctor degree and active license from the State Bar of Nevada
- Preference given to candidates with family law experience
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Bilingual, English/Spanish is a plus
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
