Position Summary:
Our Sacramento office has an opportunity for a Workplace Safety Attorney to join our expanding practice. This is a unique opportunity for an OSHA attorney to assist our senior associates and shareholders and assume a major role in litigation with extensive contact with client representatives and opposing counsel. Applicants should have experience investigating the underlying facts of a case, drafting and responding to discovery requests, drafting discovery motions and preparing witnesses. OSHA experience is not required!

A Leading Labor & Employment Law Firm' OSH law attorneys engage in a nationwide practice that includes the representation of employers in significant litigation of contested OSHA cases before the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, corresponding OSHA state-plan adjudicatory agencies, and appellate courts. Our attorneys also provide compliance advice on complex workplace safety issues, litigate rulemakings, and perform training for clients.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in California. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
  • Candidates must possess between 1+ years of litigation experience. Workplace safety experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Outstanding academic credentials (top 20% of law school class preferred)
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills are required.
  • This position will require occasional travel.
