An Estate Planning, Trusts and Probate Law Firm, a growing law firm located in the heart of Pasadena, seeks an associate attorney for its tax, business, and corporate practice. The firm has for more than 25 years provided a full range of sophisticated estate tax and estate planning services to family-owned businesses and high-net worth individuals. The firm also maintains robust trust administration and probate and trust litigation practices.This position involves preparing partnership documents, shareholder agreements, estate and gift tax returns, trusts, estate plans, and related corporate matters. You will be given significant responsibility for matters including client contact.
A successful candidate will have at least three years of progressively responsible experience in sophisticated tax planning. The position requires prior experience exposure to income tax planning, trusts, and business planning. Experience in estate and gift taxation is preferred. Likewise, an undergraduate degree in accounting or a master's degree in domestic or international taxation or business would be a plus.
