We are looking for a J.D. to work with attorneys, other conflicts department staff, and the Firm's General Counsel to help identify, evaluate, and resolve ethical and business conflict issues. This non-practicing attorney position will play an important role in facilitating the resolution of potential conflicts of interest in accordance with the Rules of Professional Conduct.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conducting comprehensive research of relevant parties to identify or rule out potential conflicts of interest
  • Reviewing and analyzing conflict reports to provide concise evaluations of potential conflict issues along with recognized steps for resolution
  • Serving as an escalation point for Conflicts Analysts and coordinating with them on conflict issues through to resolution
  • Researching, analyzing, and drafting conflict waivers, engagement letters, and ethical wall memoranda to ensure potential conflicts are addressed and resolved
  • Collaborate with responsible attorneys and the Firm's General Counsel to determine appropriate terms of engagement, and where needed, negotiate engagement, outside counsel guidelines and conflict waiver terms with clients

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate required
  • A minimum of two to three years conflicts experience
