A Leading National Law Firm's Houston office seeks an attorney with 4 – 7 years of litigation experience for a staff attorney position. Previous experience with first-party insurance/bad faith litigation is required; experience representing insurance carriers in such matters is preferred. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines. Candidates must have strong writing and oral advocacy skills. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and arguing motions and other pleadings, significant case development / management experience and experience with local state and federal courts. This position is mostly remote with in-office attendance required only on occasion (likely 1-2 times per month), which means candidates must exhibit exceptional follow-through and dedication to completing tasks independently.
