The Position:
A Full-Service Law Firm's growing Wealth Planning Practice (https://www.michaelbest.com/Practices/Wealth-Planning) is looking to add a Senior Wealth Planning attorney with at least 10 years of experience to any of our Wisconsin offices. The attorney will serve as a business advisor to clients, guiding them in a full range of legal matters throughout their life cycle.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating and implementing estate plans, the administration of trusts and estates, including experience with preparation and/or review of gift tax returns and estate tax returns, creating marital property agreements, and transfer tax planning, including the use of lifetime irrevocable trusts.

The attorney will build strong relationships through direct interaction with clients while advising them on adapting and responding to unforeseen family and business issues, economic conditions, and ever-changing tax laws.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge Base & Education:
  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • 10 years of experience in creating and implementing estate plans, the administration of trusts and estates, creating marital property agreements, and transfer tax planning
  • Wisconsin license preferred or willing to become licensed in Wisconsin.
