Position Summary:
Senior Legal Counsel– Pharmacy, you will provide strategic legal advice and counsel to internal business partners with respect to An American Healthcare Company pharmacy practices, operations, and initiatives. You will identify business and legal risks and provide solutions which balance legal issues and business objectives.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis and provide detailed guidance related to federal and state regulations for new and developing business initiatives.
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of the business and operational goals of assigned internal clients and work diligently to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to understand and utilize State administrative procedure acts and Board of Pharmacy operations for the purpose of fostering regulatory change, protecting corporate assets in litigation and building relationships with regulators, staffers, and attorneys at Boards of Pharmacies.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage many projects — whether large or small, complex or simple — simultaneously.

Required Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited institution required; Bar admission in good standing;
  • 10+ years legal experience;
  • Pharmacy and Healthcare regulatory expertise;
  • Demonstrated business judgment and acumen required;
  • Superior oral and written communication skills required;
  • High level of interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple client areas required;
  • Superior problem-solving skills required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of pharmacy legal and regulatory experience

  • Bachelor Degree
