Mid-sized women-owned education law firm with statewide practice representing school and community college districts seeks an attorney to join its Litigation and Board Ethics, Transparency and Accountability practice groups. Candidates will be considered for the following DWK offices: San Francisco, Long Beach, San Diego, Sacramento, East Bay, Fresno

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years of experience, including the below qualifications:

Representation of public entities in litigation including in civil writs
Experience with governance and accountability issues including open meeting and public records requirements
Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities
Experience presenting before governing boards, preferred
Prior school district representation is a plus
Admission to the California State Bar
