About the Position:A Corporate Law Firm has an immediate opening for a Patent Associate to join our Grand Rapids office. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in electrical or mechanical domains. As a patent associate, you will be involved in various aspects, including preparing and prosecuting patent applications, providing opinions on patentability and clearance, managing patent estates, and handling licensing and enforcement matters for a diverse group of clients.

About You:
- Required Education: Juris Doctor
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Preferred Experience: One to five years of patent preparation and prosecution experience
- Required Licensing: USPTO. Must be licensed (or willing and able to become licensed) and in good standing to practice law in the state of Michigan.
