About the Job:
This role serves as litigation counsel throughout the United States and Canada, providing support for TMH and other affiliated entities. In addition, this role will provide legal support and counsel to certain business groups within TMH and TMHNA, including marketing, technical and warranty, training, product development, engineering and procurement.

What You'll Be Doing:
In this role you will perform functions including:
  • Manage litigation docket, including:
    • Coordinate with outside counsel and insurance counsel to manage litigation and claims.
    • Attend and participate in incident inspections, corporate witness depositions, settlement conferences, and trials.
    • Manage outside counsel billing to ensure billing appropriately and within budget.
  • Day-to-day operational advice on general safety-related issues and review of related documents.
  • Provide legal advice to technical and warranty, training, product support, and design engineering.
  • Review and approve promotional literature, website information, and product training materials.
  • Advise on safety standards and any applicable regulations.
  • Proficient in document management systems and e-billing software with the ability to maintain an organized case file.

    • Organizational, time-management and prioritization capabilities; able to manage workload independently, efficiently and with minimal supervision

What We're Looking For:
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted in good standing to the Bar of at least one state, and eligible for admission to the Indiana bar as in-house counsel.
  • Minimum of three years' litigation experience; experience at a reputable law firm preferred.
  • Experience with product liability, asbestos, and/or commercial litigation required.
