The firm is seeking a litigation attorney with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our office in Boston, Massachusetts. A top candidate for the position has 4 to 8 years of litigation experience. Experience in commercial litigation and/or financial services litigation is a plus, but not required. In this role, you will assist our team representing clients in commercial litigation, including working with financial institution clients, in state, federal, and appellate actions. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney to demonstrate and hone his or her litigation skills in a culture that values collaboration and hard work. Candidates must be licensed in Massachusetts. License to practice in Massachusetts must be active and in good standing. Licenses to practice in Rhode Island or New Hampshire a plus, but not required.

Requirements of the position:
  • 4 to 8 years of prior litigation experience; Commercial and/or financial services litigation experience is a plus.
  • A current license to practice law in the state of Massachusetts must be active and in good standing.
  • Experience drafting complaints, answers, motions, and other pleadings.
  • Experience in developing litigation strategy and conducting written discovery and depositions; courtroom experience is a plus.
  • Ability to distill research into meaningful and persuasive written work product, and to work meticulously to ensure the quality of work product.
  • Federal and appellate court experience is a plus.
