Description:

A Full-Service Law Firm has an opening in the West Palm Beach office for an associate in the Litigation Department. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of complex commercial and business litigation experience. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Strong research skills, writing skills, and academic record are required.
  • Federal court and state court experience required.
  • Large law firm experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic litigation team, including but not limited to experience drafting pleadings, drafting and following up on discovery, developing and contributing to strategy, interviewing witnesses and participating in hearings and mediation.
  • Experience with ediscovery, including collection, review and production of electronically stored documents in Florida state and federal matters preferred.

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
