Description:
A National Law Firm, a prominent national law firm with over 750 attorneys in 31 cities, has an immediate opportunity for a litigation associate in the Houston, Texas office. Candidates must have a minimum of four years of general commercial litigation experience, including experience preparing and arguing motions, taking depositions, handling complex discovery and ESI, preparing cases for trial, preferably some evidentiary hearing and/or trial experience, and must be well versed in researching and drafting briefs and motions. Real estate experience is preferred, but not required.All candidates should have a strong academic background and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. A license to practice in Texas and familiarity with the Texas court system is required. Out of state candidates who are either willing to sit for the Texas bar exam or eligible for admission in Texas will be considered.
