An Appellate, Business Transactions Law Firm is a rapidly growing defense law firm with offices in Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, New Orleans, LA, Chicago, IL and Boca Raton, FL. We have immediate needs for new associates who are licensed in Texas:Responsible for docket involving litigation claims by:
- Providing sound legal analysis to support litigation strategy, drafting petitions and communicating with clients, Department of Labor and opposing counsel in a timely manner.
- Review, analyze and summarize claims documents including medical records, incident reports, and employment files.
- Prepares reports for clients as needed and on schedule.
- Organize and manage documents from multiple sources in the course of multidistrict and other complex litigation.
- Experience drafting pleads, discovery and motions, making court appearances, and taking/defending depositions.
- Communicate clearly and logically with regulatory agencies, courts, and counsel.
- Work independently and as a contributing team member.
- MUST be committed to teamwork and cooperation with your team of fellow lawyers while working on everyday tasks.
- Must possess excellent legal research and writing skills, a strong ability to think strategically / analytically, and outstanding communication skills.
