Job Description:A New Breed of Law Firm is seeking a talented and motivated Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join our thriving practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law, with a focus on trademark, copyright and media litigation as well as trademark prosecution. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes IP disputes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Manage trademark prosecution docket
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams throughout the litigation process
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Exceptional academic credentials from a top-tier law school
- Admission to at least one state bar
- 1-5 years of experience practicing intellectual property litigation, preferably in a law firm setting
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Superb writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and professionalism
