Job Summary:We are seeking a First year Family Law Associate to join our Virginia practice in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate is a self-starter seeking to develop or begin their family law litigation practice and grow into a leadership/management position.
Job Description:
- Provide exceptional representation to clients in the firm's Virginia practice
- Proactively manage assigned family law cases through all stages of representation
- Serve as co-counsel to senior attorneys on more complex matters
- Provide superior customer service to all clients including monthly status reports and bi-weekly reviews of cases
- Make improvement recommendations to partners and practice managers
Job Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Must be an active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar
- License in Maryland or the District of Columbia is a plus (not required)
- 0 - 1 years of legal experience
- Participation in trial advocacy classes/trial team in law school is a plus
