Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Family Law Paralegal,
you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with various tasks
related to family law cases. This is a full-time position based in our
office. Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research using resources such
as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw - Assist attorneys in preparing legal
documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs - Draft
correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court
personnel - Organize and maintain case files, including electronic
documents and physical records - Assist with trial preparation,
including organizing exhibits and witness lists - Attend court hearings
and other legal proceedings to provide support to attorneys - Conduct
client interviews and gather relevant information for case preparation -
Assist in negotiating settlements and drafting settlement agreements
Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal
- Strong knowledge of family law procedures and regulations -
Proficient in legal research techniques and the use of research tools
such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw - Excellent written and verbal
communication skills - Ability to draft legal documents accurately and
efficiently - Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures -
Highly organized with strong attention to detail Note: All positions
