Description:
Experienced Family Law Attorneys is a small women-run family law firm in Concord. We are looking for an experienced associate attorney with at least five years of family law and courtroom experience to fill an immediate opening. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple cases on their own with minimal oversight, but also thrive while working in a team-based approach. Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills are required.Salary is commensurate with experience. Law License Required. This position is not for law students, recent graduates, or those without multiple years of relevant experience.
Job duties would include:
- managing family law cases from beginning to end (divorce, custody, support, etc.)
- drafting pleadings, legal correspondence, memoranda, and agreements;
- meeting and communicating with clients, opposing counsels, court personnel, and experts;
- managing deadlines;
- reviewing and analyzing discovery;
- preparing financial statements, asset division worksheets, child support and alimony guidelines;
- conducting legal research as needed;
- preparing for and attending court appearances, depositions, four-way conferences, mediation, etc;
- and providing additional assistance to the partners as needed as well as delegating to support staff.
