Description:
An American Law Firm seeks to hire an experienced civil litigation attorney with 5+ years of experience to join our very active practice in Houston, Texas. This role will involve hands-on work across a range of litigation practice areas, including commercial-trucking defense, products liability, premises liability, construction disputes, business disputes, and the defense of serious personal injury and death claims.No portable business is required.
We seek candidates with:
- A current, active license to practice law in Texas;
- 5+ years of experience handling complex civil-litigation cases from start to resolution, preferably including trial experience;
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills;
- Experience overseeing and mentoring junior attorneys;
- The ability to multitask, manage multiple deadlines, and take ownership of projects and cases; and
- A team mindset.
