Our trusted attorneys also have over 100 years of combined experience in helping people just like you.We are searching for a highly professional applicant who possesses strong verbal, writing and organizational abilities to join our law firm as an estate planning attorney. You will create wills, trusts, powers of attorney for our clients, educate them on matters of asset protection and tax planning, and guide survivors through the administration process after death. This role carries a great deal of responsibility and seeks to eliminate questions regarding how an estate should be managed or prepared. Our ideal candidate will have significant estate knowledge and be a licensed Virginia attorney.
Estate Planning Attorney- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with A Legal Background and J.D. Degree Are Required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Virginia Law license is required.
- Admitted to Virginia Bar
- Experience with long-term care and special needs planning.
- Experience working at a law firm on estate planning and probate matters for at least 5 years.
- Working knowledge of wills, trusts, and property law.
- Basic understanding of retirement asset planning and estate and gift tax laws.
