Description:
Candidate profile- Juris Doctorate Degree from law school accredited by the American Bar Association or foreign equivalent.
- Four years' experience practicing law at a company, law firm or government agency.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; creative and advanced presentation and materials design.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensure the integrity of legal services provided by the legal group under this position's control.
- Guard and defend the Company (i.e., US OTOC affiliates) against legal liabilities and risks
- Support the Company in demonstrating integrity, transparency and accountability to stakeholders.
- Map and understand the data privacy landscape and implement policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with laws and reduce the company's risk exposure and potential for penalties.
- Develop and present training for all levels of the company, including both U.S. and non-U.S. audiences, to increase awareness in the subject scope.
- In conjunction with the Commercial Law, HSSE, Litigation, Projects and M&A teams, work cooperatively on all aspects of An Oil & Energy Company' business activities in the U.S.
- Acting as Initial Point of Contact for U.S. affiliates in areas of subject matter expertise and non-U.S. affiliates regarding questions of U.S. law in areas of subject matter expertise.
- Assist with continued development and implementation of the policies, procedures and training for US One An Oil & Energy Company One Country (OTOC) affiliates (+7000 employees) within the subject area; routinely liaise with the Branch Legal and Integrity groups to coordinate implementation.
