Description:
An Am Law 200 Firm, an AmLaw 200 law firm with offices in five states, seeks a transactional/corporate/tax attorney with 2+ years of M&A experience. Qualified candidates should have substantial corporate transactional experience, including managing due diligence, structuring and documenting complex acquisition transactions. Job Requirements:
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Florida bar license (or ability to take the Florida bar exam in the next year)
- LL.M. in Taxation or CPA preferred, but not essential
- 2+ years' law practice experience
- Strong technological skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems, portals and technologies
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the Internet
- Superior organizational skills
- Project management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting position static for up to one-half hour at a time
- Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to one hour per day
- Bending and stooping occasionally, up to one-half hour per day
