Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.:
Candidate should have 2 to 8 years of private sector employment law experience handling all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, including the following:
- Title VII and other EEO laws
- FMLA
- FLSA
- Employment agreements, both individual and collective
- Supervisory Training
- Employee Benefits
- Candidate must have the ability to provide day to day employment advice to Company clients and any affiliated medical facilities including hospitals, physician groups, etc.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and a Tennessee law license or pass the Tennessee Bar Examination and obtain a Tennessee law license required.
Experience:
6+ years' private sector legal experience required, and preferably experience with health care facilities
Physical Requirements:
- Visual capability and digital dexterity to operate a computer and other standard office equipment
- Digital dexterity to assemble, retrieve and replace files.
- Frequent repetitive motion; frequent writing; frequent grasping, holding and reaching.
- Frequent hearing and talking, in person and on the phone.
- Sit for extended periods of time.
