Summary: Advises the Company's clients concerning their legal rights, obligations and privileges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.:
Candidate should have 2 to 8 years of private sector employment law experience handling all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, including the following:
  • Title VII and other EEO laws
  • FMLA
  • FLSA
  • Employment agreements, both individual and collective
  • Supervisory Training
  • Employee Benefits
  • Candidate must have the ability to provide day to day employment advice to Company clients and any affiliated medical facilities including hospitals, physician groups, etc.

Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and a Tennessee law license or pass the Tennessee Bar Examination and obtain a Tennessee law license required.

Experience:
6+ years' private sector legal experience required, and preferably experience with health care facilities

Physical Requirements:
  • Visual capability and digital dexterity to operate a computer and other standard office equipment
  • Digital dexterity to assemble, retrieve and replace files.
  • Frequent repetitive motion; frequent writing; frequent grasping, holding and reaching.
  • Frequent hearing and talking, in person and on the phone.
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
