Description:
An American Multinational Technology Company Legal Department is looking for an attorney to serve as Corporate Counsel, primarily supporting An American Multinational Technology Company Fuse businesses. Responsibilities include structuring, drafting, negotiating and counseling on a broad range of commercial transactions related to distributing An American Multinational Technology Company subscriptions through third-parties, product counselling for new marketing technologies, as well as providing regulatory guidance. Relevant areas of expertise include commercial transactions, marketing, privacy, and advertising. This attorney will work with other members of the legal department both in the US and internationally, and directly with the businesses, providing day-to-day advice; resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships; and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of legal experience (with at least two years at a law firm) as a transactional attorney
- Juris Doctor and membership in good standing in at least one state bar is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- A mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience is a plus
- Admitted to the Washington State Bar Association preferred
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
- Solid understanding of marketing and advertising law including TCPA, CANSPAM, and their international equivalents
- Solid understanding of commercial transactions related to app preloading
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills
