Job Description:
The Corporate Counsel will join our legal team and will be responsible for providing support across a wide range of legal matters and providing generalist duties. With 1 to 4 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of various areas of law and a strong desire to further develop their legal skills in a dynamic environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain exposure to diverse legal issues and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Duties:

Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of issues to support the legal team and internal stakeholders.
Summarize findings and provide recommendations to assist in decision-making processes.
Assist in the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess contract needs, identify risks, and implement strategies to mitigate legal exposure.
Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Assist in managing litigation matters, including gathering documents, preparing filings, and coordinating with external counsel.
Assist in additional activities and initiatives, such as corporate transactions and policy reviews
Attend and/or lead meetings and conference calls with business groups and clients, as well as vendors, customers, outside counsel, and opposing counsel.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support legal aspects of strategic initiatives and business projects.

Job Qualifications:
Required:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a corporate or legal environment.

Preferred:

Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex legal issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
