Job Description:
The Corporate Counsel will join our legal team and will be responsible for providing support across a wide range of legal matters and providing generalist duties. With 1 to 4 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of various areas of law and a strong desire to further develop their legal skills in a dynamic environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain exposure to diverse legal issues and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Duties:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of issues to support the legal team and internal stakeholders.
  • Summarize findings and provide recommendations to assist in decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess contract needs, identify risks, and implement strategies to mitigate legal exposure.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist in managing litigation matters, including gathering documents, preparing filings, and coordinating with external counsel.
  • Assist in additional activities and initiatives, such as corporate transactions and policy reviews
  • Attend and/or lead meetings and conference calls with business groups and clients, as well as vendors, customers, outside counsel, and opposing counsel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support legal aspects of strategic initiatives and business projects.

Job Qualifications:
Required:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a corporate or legal environment.

Preferred:
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex legal issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
