Job Summary:
A Corporate, Technology, and International Law Firm, a prominent corporate boutique firm in Portland, Oregon, is looking for a mid-level Corporate Associate with 2-6 years of experience and an active Oregon State bar or California State bar license to begin work immediately.

The ideal candidate will have law firm experience in general corporate work, M&A, debt and equity financings, fund formation, and/or other business transactions. All members of our team have a deep understanding of our clients' strategic objectives and work directly with our clients and with colleagues across offices.

The successful candidate must have a J.D. with high academic standing, excellent writing, analytical, and research skills, strong time management and communication skills, and outstanding client service and development skills. The associate in this role will be expected to have strong drafting and communication skills, including the ability to independently produce client-ready documents and to contribute to our team-based culture.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar association (state-specific requirements may apply)
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in legal drafting and document review
