We are seeking a skilled and motivated Closing Attorney to join our title company. Previous closing experience is not required, but previous experience may result in a higher starting wage. For inexperienced candidates, we are prepared to train! As a Closing Attorney, you will be responsible for conducting real estate closings and refinances (both residential and commercial). You will also be responsible for addressing post-closing issues (for example, retrieving a copy of a mortgage for a client).
We believe there are two key functions that all Closing Attorneys must master: (1) conducting the closing and (2) being a good salesperson for the company. While conducting a closing, the attorney must control the room and keep everyone focused. The attorney must also be able to explain each closing document (deeds, mortgages, affidavits, etc.) without getting too bogged down in the details. At the closing table, our attorneys are critical salespeople. We expect them to give each customer the best possible experience. Additionally, when new realtors or loan officers use our services for the first time, we want our attorneys to go above and beyond so that we can create permanent clients.
