Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our fun and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in civil litigation, excellent research and writing skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of civil litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court.
- Collaborate with senior and associate attorneys on case strategy and development.
- Manage a caseload with supervision and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
- 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation (new graduates will be considered).
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
