Description:
The Cleveland office of An American Law Firm is seeking a litigation associate to join the Firm's expanding litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-6 years of commercial litigation experience, including experience in federal and state court matters, initial claims investigations, drafting and preparing pleadings, discovery, expert witnesses and trial and/or arbitration.Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate Include:
- Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, oral advocacy, and discovery skills, e.g., taking and defending depositions
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
- The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment and interact with clients
- A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
- Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio
