Description:

As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for working directly with the business to ensure that all legal matters are handled professionally and efficiently. The Associate Attorney will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, assessing legal needs, reviewing company policies and procedures, and business and legal policies.

Associate Attorney duties and responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the preparation of pleadings, notices, and subpoenas
  • Providing legal and administrative support attorney
  • Reviewing discovery cases and providing updates to attorney
  • Analyzing conflicts in legal matters and advising clients on solutions
  • Negotiating with opposing counsel to reach settlements
  • Coordinating and preparing administrative reports
  • Assisting in the review of legal documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Draft, review, and interpret legal documents for clients
  • Ensuring confidentiality
  • Establish a professional report with clients.

Associate Attorney requirements and qualifications
  • Must be currently licensed to practice law in California
  • Active member in good standing with the California Bar Association
  • Strong legal knowledge in employment law (preferred)
  • Experience in Litigation (Required)
