Description:
Past immigration experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate. Spanish fluency required.Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
- Assist with case management and preparation for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Represent clients in court and negotiate settlements on their behalf
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Prior experience working as an associate attorney or in a similar legal role
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice to clients
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Legal administrative skills to assist with case management and document preparation
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw databases
- Ability to litigate cases effectively in court and negotiate settlements
- Legal drafting skills for preparing pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
